The Stanbic IBTC Mobile Money is the Mobile Wallet platform of The Stanbic Bank which allows customer carry transactions with their cell phones.

How To Register For A Stanbic Mobile Money Account:

Phone registration:
=========
- You can register with your phone by
Dialing *909# on your mobile phone and send (excluding MTN)>
- Select '4' and press Register>Provide customer information required on each field and submit.

Web registration:
==================
You can register with the web:

- Visiting Mobile Money mobile page at www.stanbicibtcbank.mobi
- Select Mobile Money, input your no.
- Click on Register and provide customer details required.

Agent registration:
=================
You can also register through an agent.

- Request for a Mobile Money registration form from the agent or branch
- Complete a simple form, read the terms and conditions and sign
- Return completed form to agent/branch
- The agent/branch will register your details
- You will be required input a 4 digit (wallet) PIN of your choice on the branch /agent's phone
- Once completed, your wallet will be activated and you will receive an SMS on how you access your Mobile Money account
- Remember to change your Mobile Money PIN once you access your account.

How To Fund Your Stanbic IBTC Mobile Money Account:

Using a Stanbic IBTC Mobile Wallet Agent:

- Provide the Mobile Money agent your mobile number and the amount you wish to deposit, and then complete the transaction register.
- The agent will credit your wallet with the total amount
- You will also receive a transaction notification SMS.

Using a bank deposit:
================
You can also fund your account through any Stanbic IBTC Bank Branch around you.

- Provide the branch teller your Mobile Money mobile number and the amount you wish to deposit, and then complete the transaction register. You can do this by simply filling a bank teller with your phone number as account number

- Pay cash to the teller

- The branch will credit your wallet with the total amount

- You will also receive a transaction notification SMS

How To Transfer Cash to another Mobile Money account with your Mobile Wallet Account
With Your Phone:
- Dial *909# on your mobile phone and send (excluding MTN)
- Select option 1 for my wallet and send
- Select option 2 for transfer
- Select option 1 for wallet-to-wallet
- Enter recipient account /mobile number 234xxxxxxxxxx
- Enter amount xxx.00
- Enter your PIN
- An SMS with notification would be sent to you to confirm your transaction.

Using the web:
- Go to the Mobile Money mobile link on your mobile phone or computer www.stanbicibtcbank.mobi
- Select My Wallet >Transfer>Wallet-to-Wallet.
- Enter recipient account /mobile number 234xxxxxxxxxx
- Enter amount xxx.00
- Enter your PIN
- Wallet transfer will be complete

How To Withdraw From Your Stanbic IBTC Mobile Wallet Account:

Withdrawing from an agent/branch:

- Locate a Mobile Money agent or Stanbic IBTC Bank branch
- Complete the Mobile Money transfer register. From your wallet, select withdraw at agent/branch
- Enter the agent/branch account number (234xxxxxxxxxx)
- Enter the amount and confirm transaction with your PIN
- Your account will be debited for the amount and transaction charge
- Agent/branch will receive a notification of the credit amount and in turn give you cash
- You will also receive a transaction notification SMS.
- Withdrawal from ATM without a card:
Go to wallet>voucher services>generate vouchers
- Enter recipient’s phone number
- Enter amount, confirm transaction by entering your wallet PIN
- You will receive Voucher ID and PIN via SMS (two separate SMS)
- Go to a Stanbic IBTC Bank ATM and press the enter button to activate Mobile Money services on the ATM
- When prompted, enter the voucher ID and PIN
- The voucher is valid and your cash is dispensed.
- Go ahead and open your Mobile Money with them.

Personally, my first mobile money service was with Stanbic IBTC and the service is great.
